Lord Balaram and Revati — Rewari, sasural of Lord Balaram

Why This Temple Matters

A permanent home in the Lord's own sasural

Local tradition holds that Rewari is the sasural — the in-laws' home — of Lord Balaram Himself, through his marriage to princess Revati. For devotees, building a permanent temple here isn't planting something new; it's returning something ancient to land that, in spirit, already belonged to the Lord's family.
