Our Founder

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

ISKCON Rewari is affiliated with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), founded in 1966 in New York City by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Acting on the instruction of his own spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada carried the teachings of Lord Krishna and the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition from India to the rest of the world, establishing temples, publishing translations of sacred texts including the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, and inspiring a global movement of devotional practice that continues today in over 100 countries.

Every ISKCON temple, including ours, follows the same foundational practices Srila Prabhupada taught: chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, deity worship, study of Vaishnava scripture, prasadam (sanctified food) distribution, and service to the community, all offered in a spirit of love and devotion to Krishna.

Our Mission in Rewari

Building a home for Krishna consciousness in Haryana

ISKCON Rewari began as a small gathering of local devotees and has grown into an active devotional community — hosting daily classes, weekend kirtan, festival celebrations, and free prasadam distribution, while working to build Rewari's first permanent ISKCON temple.

Daily Sadhana

Morning and evening classes on the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, open to all, online and in person.

Kirtan & Festivals

Weekend kirtan and celebrations of Janmashtami, Gaura Purnima and other sacred festivals throughout the year.

Prasadam Seva

Sanctified vegetarian meals offered to devotees and the local community as an act of devotion and compassion.

Temple Construction

A permanent temple — altar, halls, and classrooms — rising in Rewari to serve devotees for generations.
